Start by understanding the basics. You do not need to buy KAS to explore this website or join the community.

1. The network and coin are different things

Kaspa is an open network and KAS is its native coin. A wallet manages the keys used to sign transfers. The coins themselves are not stored as files on your phone.

2. Choose a wallet from the source

Find the current overview in the wallet guide at kaspa.org. Check the website address and app publisher. Older guides may refer to tools that are no longer maintained.

Your recovery phrase is yours alone. Store it offline and never send it to anyone. This community website never needs it.

3. Make a small test transfer first

Verify the network and recipient address before sending. Start with a small test amount. Wallet confirmation and exchange deposits may have different requirements.

4. Ask questions and verify answers

Support staff never need your private key or recovery phrase. Ignore offers that promise to double the coins you send.
